The MAD Studio Education~
MAD Studio offers many different classes based on all your needs. All skill levels are welcomed. We follow the ” We Be Free” curriculum in order to teach our students to develop their own unique style and have fun with it. We stress, TO CREATE NOT TO IMITATE! All classes consist of basic color and value as well as fine art drawing, painting, and sculpting.
MAD Fine Art Certificate~
One year certificate program based on art history and art application. We will cover 12 different paintings and drawing styles, by learning 12 different artist. Printmaking and sculpture techniques will also be implemented throughout the year. Each month we will explore a new artist. Traditional, academic and contemporary techniques will be explored. Special projects will be assigned throughout the year based on artists of the past. Students are encouraged to explore and learn from each artist as much as possible while still possessing unique style.
Our artist can expect to engage in the Art History and different mediums. The students will learn techniques of artist and apply it to their choice of art work. As a parent you can expect a impact on the developmental growth of your child. Art has a impact on problem-solving skills and critical- thinking skills. It builds self-confidence, the ability to evolve the imagination, stimulates the memory and communication. Motivates children in learning, understanding the world around them as well as cognitive,motor,language and social-emotional development.
” We Be Free” curriculum is designed for all ages that are interested in unleashing and embracing the artist within. It will satisfy the academic mind and the creative mind alike. The studious artist will be challenged by the brief yet enriching information that will engage them with the psychological principals of selected famous artists. They will be challenged and encouraged to connect to and become the artist that others begin to study. The selected artists represent a well rounded palette.
