12 years + of experience in high end residential design-built in Los Cabos Area as project manager and principal architect with the opportunity to work and develop in some of the best and more challenging projects in the area, as well as being able to work alongside of companies like Walker Warner Architects, Ken Fulk, Inverness construction management, Ty Warner hotels, etc... working directly with the clients, design teams, construction teams and sub-contractors managing projects from start to completion. During this time I’ve been able to create a robust “wallet” of sub-contractors, suppliers and manufacturers for each aspect of a turn key project, from Architectural Design-Construction-Interior Design and FF&E complete project and the easiest of experiences to our clients.
In 2018 his older son was born with a genetic rare disease that hadn’t been treated in Mexico success- fully and hi directed a campaign to collect the necessary funds to treat him abroad we raised over 500k USD in just 6 weeks and were able to treat his son at Meyer Children’s Hospital in Florence Italy, where a team of doctors involved in writing the diagnosis protocol for the disease used world wide treat him with the most advanced type of bone marrow transplant not available at the moment in the US.
Before leaving for Italy I open my own practice alongside two business partners and together we designed, built and finished 3 complete projects and designed a few more successfully working through the Pandemic supporting not only our primary team but all workers involved with us at the moment.
After this JML stablished Mexican Architecture & Design Studio with two core concepts in MadStudio`s conception, Design thrive estudio and Clients based studio, we are here to listen and work with our clients.

2022 - Present
Opened my own practice as Principal of MAD Studio, MAD Development and MAD Interiors. with two main projects at the time we and my team was able to transition from LAND-AD to MAD Studio with ease.
2017 - 2022
Principal at LAND Architecture and Design
Architecture firm specialized in high end residential offering Design - Built - Interior Design package, all managed in house.
We started working on a house on 2017 did a couple of design only projects and a remodel from one of the older houses in the area until in 2020 managed to start on project CP115 in Chileno Bay Club, which consolidates the firm as one of the top 3 firms in the area.
2011 - 2017
Project manager at Cabo Development
Starting of with minor projects like the clients area for Dolphin Discovery at Puerto Los Cabos quickly demonstrated managing skills and a big remodel was appointed to me with big water filtration is- sues and a complicated team of interior designers was a big challenge for me, however pulled it off and and tuned in a great house to our clients. With new trust from my former employers gained I was appointed the most challenging residential projects as the principal architect was in merged in a big hotel project.
During this period I was able to work on specialty projects such as The Ty Warner Mansion at Las Ven- tanas Al Paraiso and develop a unique type of layered concrete for a unique client as many other spe- cialty request from numerous high end clients.

Maravilla lot 03 / 04
This project was developed for Cabo Development when I was a project manager over there.
A big challenge from the start. the owner set up a team of the most respected firms in the industry in the Bay Area and the US, it included WALKER WARNER as Architects, KEN FULK as interior Designer and INVERNESS as Construction Managers. Greg´s warner vision for the house was based on treating re enforced concrete as rammed earth as our main contruction element througout the house, this represented a big challenge as we had to develop new construction techniques in order to accomplish the desired look and feel of the house. In the end the combination of skillfull and demading teams pushed me and my crew to deliver a truly unique house that will be one of our most proud accomplishments for sure.
TY WARNER MANSION
This project was developed for Cabo Development when I was a Project Manager at www.cabodevelopment.com
The main goal was to create the most unique and exclusive hotel villa in Los Cabos, inspired by the Architecture of the Costa Alegre from my home town Jalisco. with Ty Warner flare, sofistication and keen eye for detail. This villa was rebuilt a couple of times as we developed the construction as new pools and livable areas where added to the roof, and new features came to mind during each visit from the owner, a 7 meter long retractable skylight and a 1/4 of an inch mosaic hand layed flooring of Thassos along with in site design mouldings and hand carved flooring slabs, this villa is the embodiment of hand made luxury in detail, running for at leat 30 thousand a night.
CHANGING STATUS QUO IN CHILENO BAY CLUB
The high end residential market in the area has been dominated by very few companies that have very unique signature styles, meaning you can see who wrked, designed and developed the house from seeing the facade, Los Cabos needs a fresher aproach to design and construction, with an open mind and a younger vision we are here to disrupt schemes and set new trends into what a Beach/Desert house should be.
